I do enjoy taking pictures of the things I encounter in my daily life. I will post some here, or you may find more on my flikr page. Being an amateur photographer means I get a kick out of the image-capturing gizmos in my posession. To me it is beauty and art though, and I sometimes take myself a bit too serioulsly in this realm.
I like to say that beautiful photos come in three flavors:
- Ordinary pictures taken of extraordinary subjects
- Extraordinary pictures taken of ordinary subjects
- Extraordinary pictures taken of extraordinary subjects
We look for category three, but most of the time I have to settle for category one or two.
